In your wildest dreams. Ensor beyond impressionism
Step into the wild universe of James Ensor, who was rebellious, carnival-spirited, and ahead of his time. Competing with giants like Monet and Munch, he broke free from Impressionism to create his own visual language. This exhibition brings his work to life through striking practical light effects and takes you on a journey through his paintings and etchings, including the monumental Temptation of Saint Anthony, where beauty, chaos, and dark humor collide.
